yea, this motor is toast.

Looks like the bike will be parted out. not worth the rebuild and a used motor is like 3K at LEAST.

Rebuilding the motor will be cheaper than getting a new bike. Yours can join mine in the shop! They’ll be friends and rev about how awesome being out on the road is.

Is has really been a shitty spring for Daytona owners on Oppo and their beloved 675's .

Shoulda done a 96 month loan on a new Tuono. In fact, you can still do that while parting this out.

If you do it right, you may actually make $$$ on it. Just the bodywork, frame with a title, and wheels will get you back a few $k.

i’m not sure if this one will ever run again

Have faith. Stay positive. You can do this. I’d caution against putting good panels on a track bike though. Seems like they would get chewed up and destroyed eventually.

Wow. Those are expensive engines. I was thinking ‘I remember getting Honda engines complete for under $1000.’ And, sure enough, Ebay provides. Look at a Triump 675, WHOA! $2000.
